Spero Recovery is currently contracted with several Colorado Judicial Districts, including the 1st, 2nd, 17th, and 18th, as well as the State Department of Corrections. It is our belief that a “warm handoff” from the judicial system to sober living can be pivotal in disrupting old habit patterns and establishing new ones for your clients.
WHY SPERO RECOVERY
Spero Recovery staff provides in-court appearances for several of our contracted Judicial Partners. In addition, in order to smoothly serve our Judicial Partners, David’s House is a member of, and expert in, the State PROST voucher system.
Critical to the measure of your client’s success are reports on how he or she is doing in sober living. To that end, Spero Recovery staff will provide timely feedback on client behaviors and progress, and we strive to maintain quick and easy communication channels with you so as to work together and best serve your judicial client.
MEDICALLY ASSISTED TREATMENT (MAT) FRIENDLY
We are proud that our homes are professionally run sober living communities guided by policy and procedure. We support all MAT in conjunction with counseling and behavioral therapies to provide a “whole patient” approach to the treatment of substance use disorders. Spero Recovery is one of the few sober living residences that works with opioid and/or alcohol dependency medications.

With over two decades of experience since beginning his career in 1996, Marty has worked extensively across the United States, contributing significantly to clinical leadership teams at multiple reputable organizations including The Hazelden Betty Ford Foundation and the Caron Foundation. Marty’s commitment to patient care has established him as a pillar within the national behavioral health treatment community. He frequently collaborates with industry leaders to discuss and advance treatment strategies. Throughout his career, Marty has successfully managed, developed, and implemented specialized services in behavioral health, mental health, and addiction treatment.
