Spero Means Hope
Take the first step and call now.
Our mission is to improve the quality of life for individuals, families and communities affected by
alcohol and drug dependency by providing access to an affordable, effective recovery community.
Set in the scenic foothills of Colorado, Spero is a peer-run, peer-led residential recovery program for men and women (woman’s program coming soon). Spero Recovery was created to serve individuals who are uninsured or have limited financial means. We believe that access to quality care is a human right. We created an option for individuals that is affordable and accessible that provides high quality care. Our peer based approach gives individuals instant community and connection. We can look people in the eye and say “I’ve been there and there’s hope”. In Latin, Spero means hope. Guests of Spero stay onsite for a minimum of 30 days, with the option to stay up to 90 days.
Our vision is for all people, regardless of financial resources, to have access to high quality recovery
communities and services.
While at Spero, we introduce our guests to a community of people in recovery that help them recover. Guests take ownership of their program and its day to day activities through a curriculum designed to build recovery, community, fellowship and leadership. Rooted in the 12 steps of Alcoholics Anonymous, Spero’s program focuses on creating a foundation for a substance free life and high accountability. With clinical oversight, we give our guests the opportunity to evaluate past behaviors, repair relationships, and embark in a new better life free from substances.
